Red frankincense balm 50ml

Purpose: Frankincense balm is intended for application on skin with compromised integrity, i.e. with small or large injuries in the form of wounds.

Resin of the Dracaena cinnabari tree or “dragon tree” that grows on Socotra, an island in the Middle East, has been used in traditional medicine for skin, dental, and other injuries, pain, and the like. Numerous studies have shown that resin has medicinal properties and has antimicrobial effects against most bacteria, viruses, fungi, and parasites, anti-inflammatory, analgesic, wound-healing effects, antioxidant, and anti-tumor effects.

It has particularly strong effects on surface wounds, decubitus ulcers, and other wounds that occur in bedridden patients, as well as in diabetics who often have infections on their wounds. In summary, regular use of this frankincense reduces the risk of skin wounds and ulcers, and in existing ones, it prevents further damage to the skin's integrity and accelerates skin regeneration.

Frankincense balm contains a high percentage of frankincense extract in jojoba oil, which itself has anti-inflammatory properties and antibacterial action. Jojoba oil is actually a type of liquid plant wax, which is naturally odorless and, unlike oils, is much more stable and less prone to spoilage. Jojoba oil is very similar to human sebum, easily absorbed by the skin and provides rapid hydration, helps the skin retain moisture, and creates an effective barrier against harmful environmental influences. It reduces dryness, irritation, and the appearance of acne. By stimulating the natural production of collagen, jojoba oil prevents premature skin aging and the appearance of wrinkles.

Sea buckthorn oil, a highly regenerative oil, stimulates the formation of new tissue and promotes collagen synthesis, making it effective as a first aid for damaged and cracked skin, frostbite, cracked capillaries, varicose veins, and helps alleviate scars and stretch marks. It also benefits cellulite by stimulating circulation. It has strong anti-inflammatory properties, making it suitable for seborrheic dermatitis.

This balm also contains calendula oil. Calendula is a traditionally used plant with multifaceted healing properties, and recent research has proven its strong effects, earning it the title of "king of dermatocosmetics". It strongly reduces inflammation, protects delicate skin, especially in babies and young children, soothes irritation and inflammation, has antimicrobial effects, eases and soothes seborrheic dermatitis, and is suitable for various types of eczema. It stimulates skin regeneration, especially after burns and other forms of damage. Coconut oil hydrates the skin and is especially beneficial for eczema-prone skin that requires additional care and intensive hydration. It is recommended for treatment of chronic inflammatory conditions of the skin, especially calming inflammation caused by UVB rays. It has antimicrobial properties and aids tissue regeneration after various types of damage. The addition of calendula flowers in coconut oil provides excellent calming and anti-inflammatory effects. This extract is especially recommended as a gentle care for babies and young children, soothes irritation due to various dermatitis, and stimulates regeneration after burns and other forms of damage.

Hypericum oil is added for sensitive, dehydrated skin care. It is an effective emollient, very gentle, and protects the skin from negative external influences, has antioxidant effects, and stimulates skin renewal. It is used for various types of skin wounds and injuries because it rapidly and effectively promotes healing.

Pure beeswax completes this rich composition with its medicinal properties. It acts primarily as an antimicrobial agent against all types of fungi and bacteria, and also acts as a keratolytic, helping to remove dead cells and stimulating the formation of new epithelium. It aids intensive tissue regeneration and wound healing.
Directions for use: Apply a small amount of product to the area of skin that requires care, in a thin layer, using gentle circular motions.
Storage: Store the well-closed packaging at room temperature, in a dry and dark place. Do not expose it to direct sunlight.
